The Idle Hands was established as a label by Chris Farrell in 2009. Now in its 5th year of existence it has had releases from a wide range of artists including Peverelist, Kowton, Outboxx, Szare, Kevin Mcphee and Bass Clef amongst others. Shops wishing to stock Idle Hands releases should contact Kudos Distribution in the UK. The Idle Hands shop was set up at the start of 2011 following the closure of Rooted Records. It was felt that Bristol needed a physical record store to represent the city's thriving underground dance music scene.
