Our volunteer organization has conducted and provided knowledge based support for several "Healthy Heart Camps" in India and recently have branched into the United States. In 2015, we have partnered with the Child Heart Foundation in New Delhi to promote the British Heart Foundation's "Wear It. Beat It." campaign in India, raising funds for congenital heart disease. Early screening and education, clinical excellence, and research promotion are our core values. Heart disease is preventable and risk factors are reversible. The major goal of the Indian Heart Association is to reduce the incidence of cardiac disease in South Asians by a targeted strategy of raising awareness of risk factors through early cardiac screening and education, and also to facilitate personalized risk evaluation and early treatment among the South Asian community in India and across the world.

IHA is dedicated to the mission of a "Heart Healthy India" by the means of conducting screening/awareness camps across India and further extending this to the next level by working with the local government, hospital groups, and private donors to expand the scope and influence of our efforts.
