The Mindful Self Compassion technique and principles and it's cutting edge research is greatly needed to support mindfulness long term. Mindfulness and Mindful Self Compassion are like 2 wings of the same bird, both are needed for your full flight in life. It is based on the pioneering work of Jon Kabat-Zinn and is backed up by 30 years of published research.Mindfulness-based interventions have been proven in reducing stress-related medical conditions and have recently been approved by Health Canada as first-line complementary therapy in the initial management of cardiac and stroke prevention. Our program improves health through balanced awareness, by teaching the medical model of stress and mind/body diseases, and mindfulness meditation principles and technique, offering a fresh perspective to make healthy pro-active choices.
