Funded by the wonderful people of Austin the hotel opened on May 19th, 1924 at 10 stories tall it was the tallest building in the city at the time and quickly became a local hotspot for social events. Austin's sprung up around us since then quickly making us a hidden gem in the heart of downtown. One block from 6th street, a short jaunt to the Capitol, and in the middle of everything that makes Austin such an amazing city. We're still keeping it weird in style!
