Description
The International and European Law (IEL) programme at The Hague University of Applied Sciences is a four-year bachelor's programme taught entirely in English. Located in the International City of Peace, Security and Justice – an inspiring location to study law – this programme will prepare you for a wide variety of international careers in multinational or governmental organisations, corporations and NGOs. At the IEL programme, we offer you an international and intercultural study experience, where you will develop competencies needed for working in the legal profession, such as legal analysis, legal communication, and critical thinking. You will have the chance to sharpen these skills in a wide variety of practical settings, establishing links between theory, practice and applied research. In the third year, you will have a chance to choose between four specialisations, or go on exchange abroad. You will also have a work placement (internship) in the fourth year and will complete a thesis. Students from the International and European Law Programme at The Hague University graduate as global citizens and competent professionals – we hope you join them!
