Description
The Into Work Service is part of Cardiff Council. We provide help to Cardiff residents who are looking to return to work or upskill in their employment. The Into Work Service will help clients to become more job ready, preparing them to return to work, preparing them for universal credit by managing their money and making on-line applications for benefits. Prime examples of help offered are: •Help getting online •Setting up and using an email account •Setting up and using Universal Jobmatch •Searching for Jobs •Helping clients open a bank accout •Advice on creating CVs •Help with job applications •Jobsearch •Works Skills Training i.e. Basic & Intermediate Computers, Confidence Building, Interview Skills, Retail & Customer Care, Manual Hanlding, Health & Safety, Food Safety, First Aid, Health & Safety, COSHH. Into Work Services provide help from a number of outreach locations across the City: GRANGETOWN LIBRARY - Monday 9am to 1pm and Friday 9am to 4pm ROATH LIBRARY - Tuesday & Thursday 9am to 1pm LLANRUMNEY HUB - Tuesday 9am to 1pm CANTON LIBRARY - Wednesday 9am to 4pm LLANDAFF NORTH LIBRARY - Wednesday 9am to 12pm FAIRWATER LIBRARY - Fairwater Library 1pm to 3pm STAR/SPLOTT LIBRARY - Wednesday 10am to 1pm POWERHOUSE - Thursday 9am to 5pm The Into Work Services are also based at: 1ST FLOOR - MARLAND HOUSE, ST MELLONS ENTERPRISE CENTRE AND THE ELY & CAERAU HUB; Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm.
