Iqra Islamic School is Independent school, situated in Winnipeg, Manitoba was established in 2014 to fulfill an Islamic vision, and to provide the highest quality of education possible for the Muslim Community in Winnipeg. Iqra Islamic School is a respectable school providing education for students from KG through to Grade 8. Iqra Islamic School now accepts applications for registration from international and Winnipeg based students. Our school offers a variety of programs, based on the Manitoba Curriculum. The school is accredited by the Manitoba District of Education. Students at Iqra Islamic School are encouraged to become keen observers of the world around them and develop as critical thinkers. Information Technology is a crucial component of this process. The school plants in the students an understanding of their culture and traditions and will preparing them to serve their children, their families and their country in the future. Our aim is to provide a fully-rounded and intelligent development program, integrated with a preservation of Islamic cultural values. Students at the School will be prepared to the highest international standards to take on leading roles in society and to become part of the wider global community. In addition to a strong academic program, they will be offered classes in languages, communication skills and social skills with a focus on the development of leadership qualities.
