Islamic Relief charity shop based in Walthamstow. Open since 1993.

Description

We are an independent Non-governmental organisation (NGO) founded in the UK in 1984 by a group of concerned postgraduate students. Islamic Relief is a neutral humanitarian aid agency alleviating poverty and suffering among all races/faiths in 30+ countries. Our London shop sells many products such as: - Women's/Men's/Kids clothes - Books - Footwear - Cutlery - Furniture - Media - Jewellery - Fabric & scarfs - Toys and much more! We accept donations (preferably in good condition), so feel free to drop in during opening hours. We also accept cash donations (sadqa, zakat, qurbani etc.) that can be paid directly within the shop. For volunteering opportunities either apply within the shop or email the manager at hanifah.fazil@islamic-relief.org.uk We accept work experience students. Card payments are accepted for items over £5 ** To sponsor an orphan from just £25 a month, please contact a staff member inside the shop. Last year a total of 32,000 orphans were sponsored by Islamic Relief donors. Sponsor an orphan today, and make a difference.**
