Other classes can minus points by placing Euro bills in other classes’ jars. As of now, the students have collected over 250€ and Grade 3A has maintained its lead throughout the entire race. This year’s proceeds will go to the Tierschutzverein in Neuss. Thanks for donating to such a great cause and keep up the good work!
History Bee in Stuttgart Our ISR History team led by Mr. Rademaker and Ms. Lange competed on March 21st in the German championships held at the international school of Stuttgart. The competition covered a broad range of world history topics and our team of Grade 11 and 12 students placed second in the group stage. In the individual round Matthias F. earned a second place silver medal for his keen history knowledge, while Nikolaus S. and Patrick R.-W. tied for the third place. The team, which also included Richard S. and Jonas B., qualified for the European finals in Geneva in June. Most important of all, the students greatly enjoyed competing against teams from across the country. Congratulations History Buffs!

It was a joy to welcome Mr. Uri Orlev back to ISR today. He spoke with our 5 – 8 grade students about his difficult past growing up as a Jewish child in Poland. The students were very excited to have the opportunity to interact face-to-face with Mr. Orlev. Their curiosity caught fire and they asked many well-thought out questions. Mr. Orlev was so pleased with their inquisitiveness that he gladly went over the planned time to answer as many questions as he could. Once again, we would like to sincerely thank Mr. Orlev for taking the time to share his amazing experience with us. It was a remarkable afternoon that the students will remember for a lifetime.
