The school won the Superintendent’s Pride Trophy for six consecutive years. Offering space for 3200+ students, the school currently has the largest student population in its district. The school no longer runs on an A/B day block in which there are four classes in each different day. There are two semesters a year made up of eighteen weeks and two nine weeks reporting periods each. There are currently twenty-four advanced placement courses available including Chemistry AP and Calculus BC AP. For the graudating classes there are no valedictorians named. Instead, students with a grade point average above 100 are tied for top honors. However, a scholarship is awarded every year to the student ranked number 1 in the class
