Description

In 2015 we changed our name to Qi House to reflect our vision of healthcare beyond the clinic. We provide traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture and acupuncture-related therapies. We believe that health is achieved through living well on a daily basis, and that illness should be treated quickly and effectively before it worsens. To do this we teach our patients tai chi, qi gong, and self-massage, while providing dietary advice and clinical care when appropriate. We treat a wide range of illnesses, but focus mainly on pain, physical injury, athletic care, and mental-emotional well-being. Qi house is operated by Jeff Chung, R.Ac, and Wing Sum Chan, RMT. About Jeff: Jeff is a registered acupuncturist (R.Ac) and tai chi instructor. He began his practice in 2010 and has since expanded into teaching TCM theory at the Toronto School of TCM. He has been practicing tai chi since 2002, and started teaching it in 2011. Jeff currently operates out of Saint Elizabeth Rehab in Richmond Hill, but maintains clinical hours at other locations as well. Please contact him at 647-929-9223 for the location nearest to you. About Wing: Wing was always wanted to be in healthcare. She chose TCM because of the amazing versatility in that system. After completing her TCM education, Wing went on to explore a more hands-on approach to treatment by becoming a registered massage therapist. Now her knowledge of both Eastern and Western medicines helps her to take the best approach to her patients' care.
