Jerrianne was born and raised in Baddeck, Cape Breton into the 5th generation of Dunlop tourism operators. The historic Telegraph House & Motel is the family owned business, and she spent her summers working in the industry alongside her grandparents, father and siblings. She went on to attend Acadia University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (Biology) degree in 2009. Through her university studies, Jerrianne realized her calling was to follow in her family’s footsteps and pursue an entrepreneurial career. She moved to Halifax and continued to work in the hospitality industry while also returning to school and graduating from the Interior Decorating program at Eastern College in 2012. Jerrianne garnered these skill sets while employed at Zephyr Rug and Home as a decorating consultant, where she gained experience helping clients with their decorating and home staging queries. It was through her satisfying experiences helping new and excited home owners turn their new house into a home they were proud of, that Jerrianne realized she wanted to be a part of the entire process.
