Description

Joe Schmitz, Sr. Vice President and Branch Partner at C2 Financial Corporation Hawaii Division, has been in the lending industry since 2006. Schmitz has originated loans both as a mortgage banker and a broker, and can understand and guide clients through the vast array of lending options. With a keen sense of the workings of the Mortgage industry, Schmitz helped build the branch of Platinum Mortgage Partners that eventually developed into Summit Mortgage and ultimately Veteran’s United Home Loans of Hawaii. There, he developed, managed, and trained a team of top-producing VA specialist loan officers. From there he went on to Mann Mortgage, a local mortgage bank, where he extended his product base to provide conventional, jumbo, portfolio, and reverse mortgages. Garnering expertise from many types of operations, Schmitz has worked under six different lending institutions during his career. Now he has teamed up with C2, the largest mortgage broker in the nation, to provide a wider range of mortgage products, and the most competitive rates available for his clients. C2 has access to nearly every lending product on the market, enabling Schmitz to provide guidance for the best possible lending solution to fit his clients’ needs. Being well-versed in all mortgage products and offerings will help demystify the borrowing process, Schmitz uses a depth of company resources to keep up to date for his clients and offer them the best possible rate. Schmitz served 4 years in the Navy on the nuclear submarine USS Buffalo. He also served in the Navy Reserves for 2 years as an intelligence specialist.
