There are times when you just want to lay back and relax with some cucumber slices on your eyes, and then there are times that require serious, specialized care from an expert set of hands. If you haven’t considered a therapeutic massage, your body might be missing out in a big way. But be prepared. The work can be intense. I leave the cucumber slices, aromatherapy, and whale songs to the spas and focus on getting to the root of your problems, using a variety of techniques, rhythms, speeds and pressures to facilitate healing. During your initial visit be prepared to discuss your goals, injuries, and health history. Many people are not accustomed to such an extensive intake but the information allows me to design a treatment plan for your unique needs. Have you ever told a massage therapist to focus on your back only to be left feeling that you were completely ignored? This is the opposite of that. But my approach isn't for everyone. Working out the kinks often found in athletes, desk workers, and anyone with chronic back and neck issues can be intense - even painful. The payoff can be huge and clients agree that any discomfort is well worth living a more pain free life.
