Description

Johnston Middle School is one of HISD's premiere middle schools. The school is dedicated to providing a quality education to every student through an intensive core curriculum utilizing Dual-Language, Gifted and Talented, and Pre-AP classes. These programs are complemented with challenging fine arts specialty courses in Art, Broadcast Journalism, Band, Choir, Dance, Guitar, Handbells, Mariachi, Orchestra, Piano, and Theater Arts, through the nationally recognized Performing and Visual Arts Magnet Program.
