Description

Official Page for the Johnston's Half Marathon Run the new certified course that begins and ends in BEAUTIFUL Central Riverside Park at the corner of Stackman & Nims. The course follows the bike paths up to 13th street crossing the Keeper of the Plains Bridge on the way to Lewis street before returning to the Park. Chip timing is provided by GoRun. Runners will be treated to 6 aid stations with water and sports drink. Runners will enjoy local eats at finish line provided by Texas Roadhouse. Elite Training Solutions will offer pre-race warm-up a half hour before the race. Stretching before the race will be provided by Holmberg Wellness Group, and Sveta's will be available for post-race massages—all included in your registration fee! Volunteers put on the race and all profits benefit The Center of Hope, preventing homelessness in Wichita and The Armendariz Hispanic Scholarship Fund at Newman University.
