Kar Medical College and Hospital and Ganesh Talkies regularly. Ultadanga, one of the city’s important junctions and the location for one of Kolkata’s busiest railway stations Bidhan Nagar Road, is less than a kilometer away from Kankurgachi. The place is a major junction to reach few other important destinations, namely the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport Kolkata Airport and Rajarhat New Township. Kankurgachi is also connected to the Calcutta Tramways Company connecting Ultadanga to Central and South Kolkata.
