Whether she is doing a short, funky haircut or a sophisticated bridal up-do she prides herself on her knack for collaborating with clients to help them achieve their "perfect look" and express their personal style. Every bride has a vision of herself and her party for that special day. Whether she envisions a look that is romantic and textured or structured and sleek, Katie will work with her to create a style that is beautiful and photo-ready. Katie's professional bridal experience has made her comfortable styling all lengths and textures of hair and her relaxed and patient demeanor will put any bridal client at ease. Katie is a Sassoon-trained hair stylist. She has participated in advanced education with Redken Exchange, Kevin Murphy, Wella and Unite. Her specialties include men's and women's cuts ranging from traditional to modern (and everything in between), stellar blow-dry's, curls and waves and innovative up-dos. Katie is originally from Brooklyn, New York but has travelled much of the country (and the world) gleaning the experiences and inspiration that have informed her point of view as an artist and creator. She is happy to now call Austin, TX "home".
