If you're feeling a bit tense and not sleeping all that well at the moment, introduce yourself to magnesium flakes (magnesium chloride). A sure fire first aid to release those tight muscles and get a nice deep sleep. Run a warm bath and 2 cups of flakes. For extra luxury add a teaspoon of coconut oil and the following essential oil blend (any single oil will add an extra dimension to the bath if you don't have many oils to make a blend). If you don't have a bath that's ok because you can do a foot bath with about 1/3 of the ingredients. A rectangular bucket should do the trick. The feet will absorb the magnesium in the salt and provide decent relief. 6 drops lavender 6 drops geranium 6 drops roman chamomile Shut the door to the world and slide into this bath. Another good blend is; 6 drops bergamot 2 drops grapefruit 2 drops basil Feel the pressure flowing out of your body.
Took the opportunity to go camping this weekend. Also happened to create a kick butt 2 minute noodle recipe that was QUICK, HEALTHY and YUM. - 2 nests of brown rice noodles - 1 heaped Tbsp of miso or 3 sachets dried miso - 1tsp kejap manis - 3 cups water - 1 carrot finely diced - 1/2 onion or 3 spring onion finely diced - 10 dried shiitake mushrooms - Boil water in a pot and add mushrooms for 10 min to soak and soften (remove mushrooms to chop and add back into soup base). Add miso, kejap manis, onions, carrot, noodles. Cook until noodles soft. There you have it!! 😀
Ok, gonna kick this page off with a ripper self invented smoothie recipe. - 1/2 avocado - 3/4 pear - 1/2 cup blueberries - handful of spinach + some parsley - 1 Tbsp of hemp seeds or linseeds - 1 1/2 cups water - 1 Tbsp of maple syrup or 1 tsp honey ** Blend and enjoy the creamy bliss. Great for post workout or breakky. ** Does end up a bit grey looking but the taste is lovely
