I started practicing yoga about 10 years ago. At first, my mat became a refuge when the world felt overwhelming. Practicing yoga helped me to manage my anxiety and stress. The more I practiced, the more I started to notice that yoga was not just providing me a safe space to reground myself, the practice of yoga was also a launching pad to better prepare me for life off the mat. It was a place to practice who and how I wanted to be in the world. As a yoga teacher, I'm offering you the opportunity to also practice who you want to be in the world, by uprooting habits that no longer serve you and planting the seeds for new ones to grow.
