General Info
In the past year, King's College Musical Society (KCMS) has risen to become perhaps the most active student-run college music organisation in Cambridge. Most concerts take place in a regular Sunday evening series in King's College Chapel, the most iconic building in the city.
KCMS is the governing body behind King's College Symphony Orchestra, which gives two ambitious concerts each term. Repertoire covered by the orchestra in the 2016-17 season alone has included Ravel, La Valse, 'Daphnis et Chloé' Suite no. 2; Sibelius, Symphonies nos. 1 & 2; Brahms, Symphony no. 1; Bruch, Double Concerto; Stravinsky, Symphony of Psalms; Prokofiev, 'Alexander Nevsky' Suite; Tippett, Fantasia Concertante on a theme of Corelli.
