The Kings Cafe is a Glasgow institution. Situated just off Sauchiehall Street on Elmbank Street and across the road from the Kings Theatre (Hence the name!) it has been providing fish teas to generations of Glasgow theatre goers. Under new management from 1st February 2013, a new focus is going to be put on restoring the menu to homemade classics and traditional wholesome Scottish food. Homemade soup, lasagne and macaroni cheese are now on the special boards - and the fantastic fish teas are still to be had. So whether you're looking for a soup & salad roll at lunch or an after theatre fish supper; the Kings Cafe is the Glasgow institution you should visit.
