Special thanks to KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Founding Parents Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Haynes. Mrs. Haynes did a great job decorating the main office and lobby with a X-mas tree, wreaths, garland and KWANZAA history. Great job! Parent involvement is the key to student success. Thanks also to KT Edwards, Chelsea Gordon, Elaine McLemore and Ms. Tillman-Logan.
THE RESULTS ARE IN!! 98% of KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Juniors passed the Georgia High School Writing Test. Great job scholars!!!

Congrats to our KAC Debate Team on their first Georgia Forensic Coaches Association (GFCA) tournament. The students have worked incredibly hard since the first day of school in preparation for the Barkley Forum tournament at Emory University. This is our first year competing in this league and the students had very tough competitors. Competing high schools included Grady, Pace Academy, Alpharetta High, Mount Vernon Presbyterian, Druid Hills, Wheeler HS and Montgomery Bell Academy. There were a total of 64 speakers at today’s event and our students ranked VERY IMPRESSIVELY!! #greatjob #VO #KACscholars
