Kirsty Winfield Photography is based in Stirling and covers Central Scotland and further afield on request. We specialise in newborn, baby, child and family portraiture, as well as special events, such as, weddings, christenings, proms and parties.

Description

I’ve always loved looking at family photos, reminiscing about happy moments and events, remembering all the little details and the emotions that photographs capture. I became more interested in photography whilst living in Australia. I felt the need to share the details of my life with my family since they were thousands of miles away. Having my children took things to a whole new level. Basically, Kirsty Winfield Photography was born out of my love of photographing my children. I was literally obsessed with photographing them, and if I wasn’t photographing them, I was looking at photos I’d already taken of them. My husband would ask me why I was looking at photos of them when they were right there in front of me! I also didn’t want my family to miss out on all the little milestones, so I set about capturing all those special moments, as well as all the normal everyday ones that were just as meaningful to me. I love capturing very natural images and genuine expressions and emotions. I try to capture the quiet dignity of babies, the toddler sense of wonder, the real character of children and the bond between parent and child. Whilst, I like a mix of posed, semi-posed and candid shots, my passion is shooting my subjects in the moment.
