Kyokushin Karate is a way of life, a way of living, a lifestyle. Bushido is a code of conduct, where discipline and moral values are of utmost importance, a total commitment. Kyokushin Karate is also a total commitment, discipline, respect, honor and daily manners are all a part of Kyokushin. Living a good life and conforming with morals and principles is the way of Kyokushin Karate. Our Kyokushin Karate Club is a part of the International Karate organization and the Kyokushinkai follow the karate way of building character and training the mind and body to contribute to society. The name "Kyokushinkai" can be translated as: Kyoku/Ultimate, Shin/Truth, Kai/ Association At our club we offer three different types of programs: Kids Program: There are many reasons for kids to become involved in the Martial Arts. We have developed a program based on traditional ways of Karate training. The Karate for Kids system is based on a lifetime learning concept in addition to technical skills. The building blocks for our system are monthly themes such as goals, self-esteem, courtesy, integrity, confidence, self-awareness, self-control, perseverance, respect and dedication. Adults Program: This class for adults focuses mainly on intense and revolutionary training that will increase your reflexes, sharpen the mind and body, teach many valuable self defense techniques and finally reduce body fat. Increased endurance and stamina will ultimately improve the way you look and feel. Advanced Karatekas: After learning the basics of Kyokushin Karate, students will begin to demonstrate and sharpen their skills through several training routines including sparring.
