The main functions of a Priory are to: -Extend and assist the Order of DeMolay and its Chapters. -Maintain the active interest of older DeMolays. -Provide an interesting program for the Priory members. -Above all to provide and maintain a proper example for all DeMolays. The officers of a Priory are: Illustrious Knight Commander Squire Commander Page Commander Registrar Senior Deacon Junior Deacon Prior Sacristan Standard Bearer Sentinel Some of the services that may be provided by a Priory are: -Conducting the Majority Service. -Conducting memorial services. -Assisting with jurisdictional activities. -Serving as coaches, umpires or referees in athletic events. -Participating in Masonic service projects.

We hope to see everyone tomorrow night at Carrollton Lodge #69 for our installation of officers. Sir Knight Remington Bridgeman is Page Commander Elect, Sir Knight Wesley Grace is Squire Commander Elect, and Sir Knight Hans Wilson Jr. is Illustrious Knight Commander Elect. The evening will begin at 7:30 pm with Squire Manor degrees.
On behalf of the State Priory of Georgia we would like to announce that our installation of officers for the ensuing term will be held on Thursday, July 23rd. The event will be held in Carrollton, Georgia at Carrollton Lodge Number 69. The night will begin at 7:30 with the Squire Manor Degree, then DeMolay degrees and ending with our installation of officers. The ceremony of installation for Knighthood is a public ceremony so everyone is invited! We hope to see all there.
Congratulations to Brother, and fellow Sir Knight James Hawkins for finishing out your term as IMC. You have made us all proud by leading our great organization into new directions and we can't wait to see what things you do in the future!
We would like to wish a late happy birthday to Sir Knight and State Senior Deacon Hiroki Harris! We hope you had a great birthday brother.
We would like to thank everyone for a very successful investure and elections on Friday the 6th. We were able to bring in four new Knights and held elections for Illustrious Knight Commander and Squire Commander. On behalf of the Priory we would like to congratulate Blake McElroy, Rhett Cooper, Dean White, and Denny Garner for being invested. It is with great pleasure to announce at this time that our Illustrious Knight Commander Ellect is Hans Wilson Jr., and our Squire Commander Elect is Wesley Grace. During our voting procedures we had a tie for Page Commander, so as stated by Priory Dad Dad Wilson, the run off election will be at our next stated meeting which the date is TBA. The runoff will be between Hiroki Harris and Remington Bridgman.
Don't forget that this Friday, February 6th, we will be having a meeting and also investure at the Atlanta Masonic Center. We will be meeting in the York Rite room. Anyone on the degree team needs to be their NO LATER than 5:15. We would like to invite any current active Knight, Senior Knight, parents, and Master Masons to join us for a great evening. Dress is coat and tie. Hope to see everyone this Friday night!
ATTENTION KNIGHTS ON THE DEGREE TEAM: For the practice Saturday, please be there by 745 so that we can start promptly at 8. You are welcome to get there early of course. We will be using swords, swords will be loaned to Knights in exchange for a drivers license or car keys. Once you return sword you will receive back your license or keys. Dress for the practice is DeMolay casual, which means clean appropriate shirt and clean and decent looking pants or shorts. Hopefully this goes without saying but no flip flops. And make sure to know your parts. We are going through the entire opening closing and investiture.
Don't forget that this Saturday, January 24th, we will be having our practice to cover Opening, Closing, and Investure for the night before TOC. It starts at 8 pm and will be held at the Peachtree City lodge. Anyone on the investure team needs to be in attendance. We should be done by 10 pm.
Alright guys, anyone participating in the investiture Friday night of TOC needs to be at the investiture practice on January 24th. We will do a full practice of the investiture and opening and closing and make sure everyone knows the plan for the upcoming events. We need everyone there that's on the team please.
