Krispy Kreme Australia holds the rights to the Krispy Kreme brand in Australasia. We opened our first shop in 2003 in Penrith (NSW) to giant queues and massive hype! In June 2006, we opened KK Fountain Gate in Melbourne to even bigger queues (world record for the highest opening week in KKDC history). In April 2008 we opened our QLD market with shops in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Fast forward to 2012 and Krispy Kreme Australia has thriving manufacturing and retail stores in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, and a burgeoning wholesale arm - in January 2012 we signed a deal to manufacture Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for 600 7-Eleven Stores in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.
