Krista Dawn Poulton has completed a three-year Herbal Medicine diploma program with Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC, consisting of over 500 hours of practical clinical training, over 500 hours of biomedical training, and roughly 1000 hours of Therapeutic Herbalism including herbal, supplementation and nutritional training. Additionally Krista Dawn Poulton has studied with Nadine Ijaz BArtsSc RH(AHG) MSc(HerbMed) learning Traditional Chinese Medicine theory with western herbs along with pulse and tongue diagnosis. Formerly Krista Dawn Poulton worked with children with developmental disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder through the Autism Resource Centre and the Regina Public School Board. Krista Poulton has focused her training on women’s health and family care through continuing education and mentoring with other practitioners. Vision: To be the Medical Herbal practitioner of choice in the Kootenay region focusing on women’s health and family care operating in a women’s integrative health center alongside various natural health practitioners. Mission: Krista Dawn Poulton, Medical Herbalist is a general family health care practice, which treats all medical conditions, with focusing on reproductive health, family care and children with developmental disabilities. Both acute and chronic medical conditions are addressed and preventative steps taken using highest standards of natural remedies including Herbal Medicine, Holistic Nutrition, Lifestyle Counseling & Stress Management, and Community education to support patients on their wellness journey. It is my mission to educate and support patients by guiding them to make informed decisions regarding their health concerns.
