Born in Guinea West Africa, La Merveille founder and designer Kadiatou Diallo also known as KD, has always been a lover of fashion. A graduate of Chicago's International Academy of Design & Technology, KD prides herself on creating exceptional pieces primarily for Muslim women as well as ladies who enjoy stylish modesty. KD's own decision to wear the hijab a few years ago and a lack of fashionable options prompted the birth of her line. La Merveille, which is a French phrase synonymous with exceptional and beautiful style, draws inspiration from the designer's motherland, art and vibrant colors. With an emphasis on providing affordable luxury and beautifully crafted pieces, the designs offers women a stylish alternative to dressing modestly without foregoing fashion.
