Wow, what a fantastic school community we have. Such amazing volunteers tonight and we want to thank all the teachers, parents, executive and members. The disco wouldn't be able to go ahead without you!! I'm happy to now be in bed with my feet up and ready to enjoy the next couple of school days left!!! Once again, thank you all so much 😀👍

Thanks again for all that attended the P&C meeting tonight. There really is such a positive vibe going around the room. Due to school holidays our next meeting will be August 17th at 5:45pm. Minutes of tonights meeting will be in files before the 17th for everyone's perusal 😀
Just a reminder about the P&C meeting on Monday 15th June at 5:45pm. There will be nibbles, cold drinks as well as tea & coffee. Babysitting will be provided. Please pop along to HQ (the old library) and see what is happening within your child/ren's school community. See you Monday 😀
Keep an eye out for the "Stop, Drop & Go" sign competition entry forms, they should be coming home in the next few days. The deadline for entries is 16th June and the winner will be selected by P&C members at our meeting on 18th June. WHAT THE SIGN NEEDS TO BE: - Bright - Bold - Get the message across “STOP your car, DROP your children and GO right away to make room for the next family” THAT’S IT, No other instructions needed except be creative! The winning design will be produced and displayed outside the school and the top design from each year group will also be laminated and displayed on the fence next to the winner. Another big congrats to the Chamber Ensemble (strings) who placed 3rd at the Eisteddfod on Monday night. Labrador is full of talented students :)

We are marching in school uniform at the Anzac parade tomorrow in Southport. Meeting around the Southport RSL at 8am (look for our school banner) and marching to Anzac Park at Broadwater Parklands for the service. Bring a hat/umbrella for shade! Just remember students to wear our school uniform proudly :) LEST WE FORGET

HELP! We desperately need the carrier bags that are gathering under your sink (hope it's not just me!) for our Christmas stall, any spare bags would be gratefully received at the stall under the office tomorrow. Thank you for any that you can donate :)
