Dr. Fitts and Dr. Phillips at Lafayette Pediatric Clinic provide full service medical care from birth to 18 years for routine well child exams, chronic medical conditions, and sick visits. Our physicians care for patients in clinic and at Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi where they attend deliveries, care for newborns in the nursery, and admit patients in need of hospital care. The clinic is now located in L'Acadian Office Park just off the South Lamar roundabout on Access Road. Office hours are Mon-Thurs 8:00am - 4:00pm and Fri 8:00am -11:00. Patients are seen by appointment only, but same day visits are usually available. After office hours, a nurse triage service is available and can reach the doctor on call if needed. The on call nurse can be reached at 1-877-726-9011. In emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Dr. Tanya Fitts has practiced pediatrics in Oxford since 2002. She is Board Certified in General Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She attended Vanderbilt for her undergraduate education and the University of Mississippi for medical school. She subsequently completed her pediatric residency at UMMC at Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children in Jackson, MS. Dr. Catherine Phillips joined the clinic in 2013. She is Board Certified in General Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She attended the University of Mississippi for her undergraduate education and Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences for medical school. She completed her pediatric residency at LSUHSC at the Children's Hospital in New Orleans, LA. Our staff will be happy to help you with both the physical and emotional needs of your child.
