From a group of just twenty-seven members, the club has grown to its present size of over one hundred active members. Some of our Fund Raising & Community Service Activities are: Adopt-A-Road, Bingo, Big Brother Big Sister Bowl For Kids Sake, Blood Donor Clinic, Business Christmas Party, Camp Quality, Canteen, Catering, CHEO Breakfast, CHEO Telethon, Christmas Parade, Christmas Craft Show, Classic Cruiser, Claxon Fruit Cake, Country Jam, Craft Sales, Festival of the Maples, Glass Turkey Draw, GWMF Black Tie Bingo, Halloween Haunted House, Hall Rentals, Hometown Heroes Award, Medical Loan Bank, Nevada, New Year's Eve Party, Perth World’s Kilt Run, Psychic~Natural Health & Wellness Fair, Relay For Life, Tree Lighting at Crystal Palace, School Citzenship Awards, Santa Claus Parade, Seniors Free Christmas Dinner, Small Home Business Sale, Special Olympics, Stampede Steakout & Dance, Winter Family Fun Day, Yard Sale & BBQ The Civitan Club of Perth also helped to establish the Perth Day Care Center and the former Civitan Playground at the Stewart School. We have also provided funds to assist with the construction and/or operation of the Perth and District Indoor Pool, the Perth and District Union Library, Great War Memorial Hospital of Perth and District, Conlon Farm recreational facilities, Lanark Lodge, the Tay Valley Non Profit Housing Corporation and Algonquin College. As a result of its efforts during the 1997-1998 , 1999-2000 and 2000-2001, the Civitan Club of Perth was recognized by Civitan International as the most outstanding Civitan club throughout the world. This prestigious honour has never before been awarded to a club in Canadian District East and only once in Canadian District West. We are always looking for new members. We have members from Perth, Smiths Falls, Lanark, Brockville and a few other areas. Perth Ribfest Music Festival & Car Shows is a 3 day event hosted by the Rotary Club of Perth. The event features mouth watering ribs plus multiple food and non-food vendors; live entertainment; kids zone; antique car shows Saturday & Sunday.

Film Night International is a non-profit group run entirely by volunteers in partnership with the Film Circuit, a division of the Toronto International Film Festival Group. Film Night International is one of almost 200 film groups acrosss Canada.
