Description
Lancaster Boys and Girls Club was established back in 1929 with help from the Rotary Club and it's primary focus was on after school activities for young men-mostly boxing and football. Over the years, the Club has changed in many ways, including a few name changes, but still has the same values at heart: providing young people with activities out of school time. During the week, we offer a range of evening sessions for young people and for the community. We provide generic youth sessions for young people aged 8-18, specialised sessions for music and arts, as well as sports sessions. The programme of activities from April 2013 is as follows: Monday 6:15pm-7:45pm 8-16s ABA Boxing Training 8pm-9pm 17+ years ABA Boxing Training Tuesday 6:30pm-9pm Senior Youth Club, ages 12-18 6:30pm-8pm Karate Wednesday 6:15pm-7:45pm 8-16s ABA Boxing Training 8pm-9pm 17+ ABA Boxing Training Thursday 6:30pm-9pm Junior Youth Group, ages 8-12 Friday 6pm-7:30pm Karate- beginners welcome 7pm-9pm Expressions youth group, ages 10-16 7:30pm-9pm ABA Boxing Training, all ages Saturday 5pm-8pm Sports Saturdays Please feel free to contact the club via this page, email or by phone if you want to know more about what we offer.
