The Lancaster County Conservancy was founded on September 17th, 1969 with a mission to save and steward the ecosysems and landscapes upon which we depend for food, clean water, clean air, economic and public health, and the restoration of the soul and spirit. The LCC focuses on four main program areas: land protection, stewardship, education, and urban greening. Since its inception, over 2,600 members of the community have joined to support the Conservancy and have helped enable us to preserve over 5,200 acres as of 2013. With your support, we can save Lancaster County’s natural lands! The Lancaster County Conservancy exists because clean air, fresh water, and wild places are vital to every generation.
