Lancaster Kendo Club: Red Rose Kendo, hosted it's very first event! The "Red Rose Kendo Goudou Keiko Kai", which saw people attending from the nearby Manchester dojo, as well as seeing members from Shozankan, Birmingham and even the ever renowned Tora dojo had 2 members in attendance! This event helped our members tremendously, and hopefully built the foundation to a yearly training event, to bring North West Kendo together! We'd like to thank so many people for this event, which wouldn't of happened without the tireless work and spirit of Anne Huang! Thank you to; Nigel Collins- sensei, Dipak Choudhury, Emily Knight and Thomas Widdows senpai for leading the session and serving as an example for all our members and allowing us to improve our technique as well as our hearts and spirits! We hope everyone enjoyed the event, and we hope to be able to run it again next year and improve together once again! Thank you all for coming!!
Term is nearly upon us, and so is freshers! Make sure to check us out at the activities showcase and our freshers fair stall! For the fair we will be located in LICA, the large glass building near county south and Bowland north accommodation!

Waiting to get pictures from York's student union of the Roses match! We all done well, with a vastly improved score from last year (we still lost, boo~). Most impressive were two of our beginners this year, Joanna Low and Teresa Ko as well as our always impressive Anne Huang (who also got great praise from the attending shinpan/ sensei!). We're clearly becoming a girls haven for Kendo, they're showing up the guys! Training is tonight at 6PM, Brandrigg Room!
