Want to learn how to fish? Want to go fishing land based but don't have any gear? On holiday in Adelaide and don't have your fishing gear with you?Like fishing but get sea sick? Then I can help. I offer a Land based gear rental service at a few well known ,easily accessible locations in metro Adelaide *Land based Gear Rental Service* I will meet you at one of a few well known,easy to fish locations in metro Adelaide and provide you with the gear and bait that you require. I can set you up to fish for the following species: a) Gar and Tommies (Australian Herring) b) King George Whiting & Red Mullet c) Squid d) Snook e) Mullet and Yellowfin Whiting f) Salmon trout and Bream I can advise you as to what species you are most likely to encounter there at any given time. I will meet you there and I will be fishing at the same time so I will be able to give you some pointers. The price per hour per rod depends on the species you wish to target as the gear and bait required differs . More than one person can use one rod but all users have to have their photo ID registered with me. A refundable rental deposit of $60 per rod is required . For example: Gar set up = $20 / hour including bait Tommie ruff (Australian Herring) = $20 / hour including bait King George Whiting & Red Mullet = $27 / hour including bait Squid set up = $20 / hour (I can change jigs for you to different styles and colours as often as you like,about 15 available) Snook set up = $20 / hour including bait Mullet set up = $20 / hour including bait Yellowfin Whiting set up = $27 / hour including bait from a jetty or $30 / hour from the beach Salmon trout set up = $20 / hour including bait Bream set up = $20 / hour including bait I can set you up for lure fishing for many of the above species but any hard body lures lost must be paid for. All set ups include one fishing rig (terminal tackle set up). If a new one is required they can be supplied at a cost of $5 each. The minimum rental cost will be $60 (either 3 hours for one set up or less hours for multiple set ups used). All people using the service must bring a valid drivers license or photo ID (such as a passport) with them on the day or else the gear will not be hired out. All payments to be made in advance on the day (*Strictly Cash Only*) !
