The Texas Sexual Assault Services and Information (SASI) Program is designed to provide free comprehensive services to sexually assaulted individuals.
Laredo's SASI program is one of the many programs provided at SCAN. SASI is a victim centered, volunteer based program that provides Free comprehensive services to sexual assault survivors of all ages. Program volunteers provide 24-hour crisis intervention at local hospitals and accompany survivors through the forensic medical exam, legal procedures, and court proceedings. Volunteers also provide preventive presentations to the community in general and attend local events promoting awareness.
