Description
My work explores the relationship between the darkness of the human soul and beauty of the human form. With influences as diverse as Edward Munch and David LaChapelle, new tensions are manufactured from both dark tragedies and beautiful serenities. Ever since I was a teenager I have been fascinated by the beauty that can only be found within the darkness of loss. What starts out as sorrow soon becomes a beautiful mess, tangled, and struggling; leaving the viewer with only a sense of chaos and the inevitability of a new beginning.
