If physically possible, Laurie would live, eat, and breathe fashion. She was fortunate to land her first job after college in the New York City fashion world, working in merchandising at Cygne Design, a private label fashion design company. Her homework on weekends was to “shop the stores” and report back on the latest fashion trends. Laurie aced every assignment. Laurie headed to the West Coast 12 years ago, when love and marriage brought her to San Francisco. Throughout the years and life’s many transitions, Laurie has continued to “shop the stores,” using her skill and instincts to find beautiful, versatile, and functional clothing for her clients. In each role Laurie has taken on in life—wife, high-tech sales professional, mother, volunteer, entrepreneur—Laurie has recognized how important it is to dress for the occasion. The right clothes help a person project confidence and ease in any situation, whether it be presenting at a high-powered sales meeting, attending a black-tie affair, or tagging along on a play date with the kids. Laurie believes that style is an expression of who you are and how you would like to present yourself to the world. Your identity, your passions, and your creativity are all reflected through it. Laurie works closely with clients to understand their lifestyles, honing in on their practical needs, challenges, and aspirations. Through this process, she helps clients select flattering outfits that reflect their true personalities and help them feel comfortable in any setting. Each situation requires a specific fashion choice; each look, a different emphasis. Laurie is skilled at working with clients in this realm, and she takes great pleasure in helping people look and feel their best.
