Every student at the University of Leeds is a member of the students' union. We make sure that students love their time at Leeds by helping to create a better University, running clubs and societies, social activities, campaigning on student issues and connecting people. We are led by six elected students, backed by 500 staff and volunteers. They work full time to lead a Union of 32, 000 students in Leeds. Our school, hall and community reps support students as they study and in their local community. The Union building offers shops, bars and services which raise money to make sure that we're able to do all of these great things working together as students.
