We agree with the reform movement that the promise of Brown v Board of Education is yet unfulfilled. We believe that the battle between the education reformers (aka Michelle Rhee) and those supporting traditional public schools (aka Diane Ravitch) have created an either-or battle that is producing casualties of careers and casualties of learning on all sides. We believe both sides are actually right (Educator quality must be improved AND community conditions of poverty must be addressed simultaneously). Busy Place is a family owned and operated preschool located in the business district of Jersey City Heights, We are a state licensed center that offers a variety of childcare and educational programs for children age 0 to 9 years. Our staff that has decades of education and experience in the field. The center is open Monday through Friday from 7am to 6pm. We stay open throughout the year. Busy Place provides wholesome meals and snacks for all children enrolled at the center at no extra cost to parents.
