Description

Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts at MacArthur Park (Levitt LA) inspires and strengthens community through free access to exceptional and diverse performing arts. Central to our mission is establishing a vibrant gathering space in the heart of Los Angeles -- contributing to urban renewal and fostering greater appreciation of the arts, arts education and preservation of the immense cultural and artistic history of MacArthur Park For the past four summers, Levitt LA has presented live concerts, five times a week, all free of charge. Since Levitt LA opened in 2007, over 100,000 people have gathered in MacArthur Park to picnic on the grassy lawn and enjoy music under the stars. As music has filled the park, so have families, friends, and Angelenos from all over the city, creating community through music.

FREE admission to all 50 concerts (June-Sept) * Four evening concerts weekly, Thursdays through Sundays, 7pm start * Children's Matinee Series, Sundays, 4 pm * Family friendly concerts throughout the season * Acclaimed professional musicians and diverse performing artists * A welcoming, well-run urban oasis and community gathering place PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION Metro Subway: RED line stop: Westlake/MacArthur Park Station Metro Bus: Lines that provide service to MacArthur Park PARKING OPTIONS The following are cash only with fees ranging between $5 - $10. 623 S. Carondelet Street - parking garage located between West 6th Street & Wilshire Blvd. Open 24 hours 2509 Wilshire Blvd. - parking lot located at the northeast corner of Coronado Street & Wilshire Blvd. (entrance is on Coronado Street) Open until 12 am Street parking surrounding MacArthur Park and within walking distance to the Levitt Pavilion is available. Please be sure to read all posted signs.
