Pastor Roscoe Gilmore October 6, 2013 Morning Service Sermon Points: 1. God never left me (leaves us) in spite of what we do that is part of our testimony. 2. When God moves (does anything) He moves on His own time and methodology... you can't figure Him out. 3. God deals with each one of us on our own level. 4. Sometimes we need to just be quite and listen to God. 5. Adam never was a baby or grow up from a baby. 6. He was created with an intelligent mind from the hand of God (in the image of God). God made Adam smart. 7. Adam named all animals their names and their names lasted until this day. 8. Adam lived 930 years and never had the DCO program, Dad cut out. 9. Don't try to imitate anyone else preaching method or style or words. That is for that person not you. 10. Noah preached 120 years, built the ark with his sons helping him at the same time. 11. God told Noah and his family to replenish the earth. 12. The Bible says that there is nothing new under the sun. 13. God knows everything about us and everything we do. 14. Messenger: Assist.. Pastor Linda Gilmore Sunday, October 13, 2013 I Kings 19:1-8 Sermon Notes: - Life is not worth living without Jesus Christ. - Not only will you see a change but others will also. - When disaster hits our pockets then everyone starts to pray like crazy. - Elijah the prophet challenged the 450 prophets of Baal. - God is able to supply all our needs regardless of what is happening around us. - David said, (Psalm 37:25) I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. - God will fight your battles, just stand still. - We are worshipping a God who does not slumber nor sleep. (Psalm 121:4) Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. - Even the atmosphere is in expectation. - Someone is going to turn to God because in this government shutdown no one else has the answers. - The devil rears up in his own confidence. - Don't think we are not going to go through something however we are not going through it by ourselves for God is with us. 2 Timothy 3:12 (KJV) - 12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Matthew 28:20b ...and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. - Elijah got afraid and ran and hid in a cave when Jezebel threatened him. - Some folks don't like to admit when they are scared. - Elijah knew that Jezebel was a person of her word. - It is so important for us to fast and pray to seek the face of God. - People can have the knowledge but not the anointing which destroys yokes. - People of God prepare for the famine so when people need something, you can (1) invite them into your house to eat, and (2) send them to their own home with a lunch bag. (Deuteronomy 28:13) And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them: - People (Christians) can be challenged in giving their tithes. Malachi 3:7-9 (KJV) - 7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return? 8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. - Do not count God out, and say or think He cannot move on our behalf. - God is going to cause His people to flourish in this famine. - When people turn to Jesus, they don't realize how much we escape. - God spoke to Elijah in the cave.. In a still small voice. What are you doing because a woman threatened you? - When things come up against us, so that sometimes we say I would that I want to die. Press on. (Philippians 3:14) I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. - God seen his (Elijah) circumstance long before it happened. - God is able to destroy not just Goliath but also his brothers. - A lot of times in our lives we think we are the only ones that God can use or speak too. - We know this and that, next to God what!!!???? That way of thinking is foolishness. - People have this and that, entertainment in churches but people are not being saved or delivered - this is no power or anointing. - When you backslide the anointing is lifted. - God is counting on us to be what we say we are. - Everyone is not obeying or doing what they are suppose to do in a mega-church. Some people don't want the responsible. - When you mean to do God's ministry it costs something, you can't give up or stop. - When you have done all to stand, stand. (Ephesians 6 (KJV)) 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. - Many are listening to voices but not the voice of God, (John 10:27) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: - Not my will, but thine will be done. Humble yourself before God. - People don't want to be molded by God. - Old are wise and the young are strong (1 John 2:14) I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. - Your gift will make room for you not you for your gift. - How can you tell someone something if you never have went through anything (trials, tribulations, suffering, doubt, fear, etc.) to be proved? - You have to have a testimony and leave a legacy. Someone has to stay behind to tell the story. - Have a zeal for God but not according to knowledge. (Romans 10:2-3 (KJV)) - 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. - God told Elijah that He has 7,000 who have not bowed to Baal. (Romans 11:3-5 (KJV)) 3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. 4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. (I Kings 19) 15 And the Lord said unto him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria: 16 And Jehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint to be king over Israel: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy room. 17 And it shall come to pass, that him that escapeth the sword of Hazael shall Jehu slay: and him that escapeth from the sword of Jehu shall Elisha slay. 18 Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.

Messenger: Pastor Roscoe Gilmore Sunday, October 20, 2013 Scripture Focus: Isaiah 6:1-5 (King James Version) 1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. 2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. 3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. 4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts. Message Title: Does Your Uzziah have to die? Points: * Has your Uzziah died so you can see God. * God is talking to you not as a group but individually. * God is talking to you through His ways. * God has not changed even from the Old Testament (Moses and the Red Sea, the Hebrew men, Joseph, David, etc.) to now. He is the same God. * Ain't nothing new under the heavens. * I have found out through the years God is still the same. * When Uzziah was living Isaiah could not see God high and lifted up. * God's presence filled the temple. * When you are in the presence of God He will the place where you are. * All things in nature is God's glory. * Man is an imitator but he is nowhere near the glory of God. * The earth is full of God's glory. * Church officers want you to follow them and pay them for it. You have the Word of God the same thing they are wanting you to pay for. * Make sure you know God for yourself. * Just because things happen (to you and around you) does not mean you have sinned. Take a look at Job God was pleased with him but the devil had to get permission from God to attack him. * God wants a personal relationship with you. When you come into the presence of God you are a changed person, and people can see it. * The Holy Ghost want to work in you and on you. * When I was in church I prayed whatever is in me God that is not of you take it out. * You don't have to prove yourself to nobody. * God is bigger than you and me, people years ago were trying to disect God in having discussion on Him. God said My ways are not your ways, My thoughts are not your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9 (KJV) 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. - You don't discuss me or pick Me apart I Am God. * Pastor Gilmore has told the truth and stood for it. * Parents today can't control their own children. Children should not be able to disrespect their parents and get away with it. * God shows us ourselves. * Isaiah hanged with the people. * God is a miracle worker.

Something to think about: Do not forget ever in your christian walk several things: 1. If a person falls remember God's grace and mercy Adam and Eve fell committed sin in the garden of Eden and God had to put them out of it before they could eat of the tree of life. What this means is that if they had eaten it then they and their offspring could not be saved or the relationship could not be restored with God. Our saving grace is through the death and resurrection of Jesus, sins is not a barrier between God and us. So if we fall we sincerely confess our sins, repent, and ask for forgiveness and the Word says He (Jesus) is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins. So don't let your sins be a barrier between you and God. Jesus died and rose again so it would not be.

Pastor Roscoe Gilmore November 3, 2013 Points: - God is an on time God. - The steps of a good man is ordered by the Lord. Psalm 37:23 (KJV) The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. - Any situation I get in I have the Word to help me and you to work through it. - Mother Russell taught me and she said, if you have a question ask the Holy Ghost and He will teach you. - When I testify I can write about five books about what I have gone through. - A man was writing chapters of his Bible and offering it for $80 people do not realize that you don't have to have that when you have the Bible from God Himself. We have access to God's Word ourselves without sending money to anyone. - Love makes a difference. - Your enemies can be saved because of the love of God in you. - David was something else. He not only killed Goliath but many more his hands were filled with blood of many men. Yet he was a man after God's own heart. - We all have done something we are not proud of and that was not right. Jesus came to die to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 2 Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 14:9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. - Any man's sin, we all have an advocate 1 John 2:1-3 - King James Version (KJV) 1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. - In the mist of trouble God is there to help us walk through it and overcome it. - He may not come.... when we ....want Him too .... but He is always right on time.

Asst. Pastor Linda Gilmore November 10, 2013 I Chronicles 10:13 / 12 - People did not want God to be their king, but they wanted a man king like other nations....God picked Saul). 1 Samuel 8 - King James Version (KJV) 8 And it came to pass, when Samuel was old, that he made his sons judges over Israel. 2 Now the name of his firstborn was Joel; and the name of his second, Abiah: they were judges in Beersheba. 3 And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment. 4 Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah, 5 And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. 6 But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the Lord. 7 And the Lord said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. 8 According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee. 9 Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them. - Touch not my anointed. David had an opportunity to kill Saul (who was trying to kill David) but David remembered that God had picked Saul and learned and remembered touch not my anointed. - There have been times when I was tested and had to listen to the spirit of God, Lord said, Hold your peace...let God fight your battles. - In our previous building the landlord did not want to put money in the building to keep it up and it eventually fell in. - You have to put money into it, how do you expect it to last. - Sometimes people want stuff to come overnight. Wait on the Lord. David Waited on the Lord (The Lord's timing and season). - When Saul fell out of God's grace, God sent Samuel to Jesse's house to anoint a new king over Israel. The sons that were in the house were brought before the prophet Samuel knew that one of them had to be it. God rejected each one. Samuel asked is there another and Jesse's said yes in the field watching my sheep. David was obedient and cared for his father's sheep he was already a watchman. Samuel told Jesse to bring him. He was the youngest of Jesse's son the last but with God he was approved. When Jesse's sons were sent to war in the army of God against the Philistines he sent David with some food to check on his sons (between being anointed by Samuel and going to check on the sons David killed a lion and a bear) when David got to the front line and seen how the army was running from the gaint Goliath he got mad. David had killed a lion and a bear David knew that God was with him. He had these victories under his belt. David talked king Saul into letting him face Goliath and David killed the Philistine's champion warrior. - When it was time for David to take the throne of Israel to be their king, The Lord sent an army to David to support him. When it is time The Lord will send help to you. We had been praying for help and the Lord sent Lynn and Cetreon back to us to help. - We are the church not in the building but the body, present your body as a living sacrifice. Jesus shed his blood for us once and for all. - David was blessed to be a blessing. Things do not work out when we look within ourselves to have our own means (relying upon ourselves to do this and that). - God never gave us a gift (or gifted us) to set us down. - Matthew 25:21 - King James Version (KJV) 21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. - I Chronicles 17 - God's presence dwells within us. - I Chronicles 17:5 For I have not dwelt in an house since the day that I brought up Israel unto this day; but have gone from tent to tent, and from one tabernacle to another. - The Lord knows how to prove us to the devil. David was proved when he killed the lion and the bear. - The Lord proved Daniel when he shut the lions' mouth in the lion's den. - The Lord proved the Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace. - God took David through a process to be king, ruler. - Don't despise small beginnings. - People will attempt to talk to you and down size you. It does not mean this or that. God doesn't want you this or that. - Life is like a school in that it goes from one grade level to another. God is passing us from one grade level to another. - God has great things for us to do. - People don't know all of what God has brought you through. 1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. - Fulfillment of prophecy - Israel has come back to their homeland. The Jews have went through so much. - God has a time and seasons for everything. -Our seeds are going to do it or possess it. - Parents desire is for the children to go beyond or to do better or have more than them. - God brings in a new generation to do a new thing. - Let the church have an ear to hear what thus says the Lord. - God will not lead in error, when we dwell in the presence of God. - God will direct our pathway, He will direct us.

Praise God for the real teaching from my Aunt Lynn Marsh this evening. I haven't heard too many preachers teaching about demonic forces and how we allow them access to our lives by our ear gates, eye gates, etc. The church of modern day doesn't wanna talk about the realness of oppression, possession, and depression or even the reality that there is a heaven and hell... My people perish for lack of knowledge... Know what you as a child of God have power over and know what to pray when the enemy invades your territory.
