Located on the second floor, Lincoln Square Lanes is the oldest operating bowling alley in Chicago.
Located on the second floor, Lincoln Square Lanes is the oldest operating bowling alley in Chicago since 1918. In late 2012, Lincoln Square Lanes went through a major renovation. This included restoring the original ceiling, exposing the original brick walls, adding three large windows, and removing the divide between the bar and bowling. The next steps included installing a brand new kitchen and restoring the balcony. In the process, Lincoln Square Lanes removed (4) lanes to accommodate a large stage and bar. Installed was a top of the line sound and lighting system. The brand new bar has a large variety of bottles, cans, liquor, wine, and 24 craft beers that are constantly rotating. The bar top was crafted from the original bowling lanes. Brand new wood floors were added and both the exterior and interior were decorated in sports memorabilia. Lincoln Square Lanes reopened in February of 2013 boasting eight lanes of bowling, live music, pool tables, dartboards, shuffleboard, foosball, bubble hockey, arcade games, 25 HD televisions, 4 100" projection screens over the lanes, and a 206" projection screen over the music stage. Come in for great food and spirits, go bowling, enjoy a concert or sporting event.
