Description

We are Lincolnshire Speakers; part of the world's largest speakers organisation, Toastmasters International. Whether you're preparing for a presentation at work, a best man's speech, or just have a desire to develop more ease, poise and confidence when speaking in public; coming along to Lincolnshire Speakers may help you achieve your goals faster, with less effort and more fun. Toastmasters is a great (and low cost) way of developing personal confidence and leadership skills in: -Leadership -Presentation & Public Speaking -Communications & Interviews -Evaluation and Feedback -Listening -Facilitation -Managing Meetings We've only been running for a few months but are already gathering momentum with regular members and news faces joining us at every meet. Come and say hello!! If you are the least bit tempted by Toastmasters and curious to know how we can benefit you, then come and visit us at our next meeting. You can be assured a warm welcome, and you'll be among a group of people who are there to encourage and support each other with their improvement. General Info

We meet fortnightly each 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month at 7:30-9:30pm. Members generally arrive at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Our meetings currently take place upstairs in the function room at The Magna Carta Pub in Lincoln, situated by the cathedral. No 1 Exchequergate, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, LN2 1PZ www.magnacartapub.co.uk Car Parking Closest car parks to this venue (about a 5 minute walk): 1 Westgate, Lincoln LN1 3AS This is one of the largest car parks in the Bailgate area, so you should have no problems getting a space. Alternatively, The Lawn, Union Road, LN1 3BU The evening charge from 6pm-8am is £2.60. Free parking slots may be available locally, if you can find any!
