I have had 9 people in my social circle pass away suddenly before the age of 36yrs old. If you don't have life insurance (not life insurance through work it's not enough) GO GET SOME PLEASE. Don't leave your loved ones devastated and broke.

If you have a line of credit or variable rate mortgage you're in luck. Bank of Canada is not increasing prime rate.

Be sure to raise your mortgage payment every year by at least $50.00. If you have a 400k mortgage with a rate of 2.89% and the rate goes up to 5.0% on renewal your payment will jump $450.00. OMG

I love vacationing!!! My family makes sure we put a healthy amount of money away every month so we can travel. Have you ever thought of an American bank account. Transfer money when the dollar is good?

Don't forget to change your beneficiary for your life insurance and investments when you get married or divorced. You don't want your ex cashing in!

My husband was off work for 6 weeks with a crushed leg. Very hard to deal with financially. Is your disability policy up to snuff? Most work policy's don't kick in for 60 days.

Getting ready for a garage sale this weekend. I feel like I need to be on an episode of hoarding... Do you have garage sales or just donate your junk?

Why use a broker? I just took me 47 minutes to resolve a simple issue with TD credit cards. Infuriating!!!! When you use a broker like me :) I wait on hold with the bank or lender for you. All at no charge.

Do you ever wonder who lives in the multi million dollar homes in and around Edmonton? I drive around in awe and wonder what it would be like to live in a 5000 sq mansion. Then I think about cleaning it and the allure fades....
