Services & Benefits My husband (partner) is my left hand and my doula is my right. -Doulas Making a Difference Your fee includes the following: - No fee consultation - On average, 2 prenatal meetings to discuss the birth process, your hopes and priorities and how I can best support you and your partner. Should you request an additional meeting during the final days before your labour I would be happy to accommodate that. - One postpartum meeting to talk about your birth experience, provide breast feeding or newborn care support and resources, as well as to answer any questions you may have about the events surrounding your birth. - Unlimited support by phone or email during your pregnancy and the first 2 weeks after your birth. - On call support from 14 days prior to your due date and up to 14 days after your due date for your labour. - Pictures (If desired. I am not a photographer but I would be happy to document your labour and the birth of your child in this way, as long as circumstances allow). - A copy of your birth story including notes and quotes. Benefits The benefits of having continuous support for women (and their partners) during childbirth in the form of a doula are well documented.
