Tomorrow is Battle of the Stitches #sneakpeek day!!!! I can't wait t see what they challengers have been working on!
By a show of <3, who is finished with their Christmas shopping/crafting for this year? I am, 100% finished. I did not make nearly as many as what I'd hoped, though. But, I hit a lot of great deals and ended up spending less than I would have on yarn. So, all in all, it worked out. Hubby, on the other hand, hasn't even started his shopping. :)
Can you believe it's less than 3 weeks until Christmas??? This year had just flown by. It feels like we just made the move from TX to KS, and that was mid February. How many of you have made, crocheted or otherwise, gifts for family and friends this year? I had the best of intentions to make several things, and only managed to get one of them done. Of course, hosting Battle of the Stitches this round has taken up a lot of my time. But, it's been so much fun, I definitely can't complain! Just over a week until sneak peeks!!!
What's on your menu for tomorrow? The turkey will go in the oven tonight, about 1am and cook until about 11am...just in time to throw the green bean casserole and rolls in the oven. The mashed potatoes are going to be cooked in the crock pot this year, and the stuffing will be cooked in the Ninja 3-in-1. Usually, I make pie or some other dessert. This year, I decided to let Dillon's Marketplace do that for me. And, there will be pumpkin monkey bread to have while watching the parade. This should be the easiest Thanksgiving ever! The prep work will be done tonight, the turkey will practically carve itself, since it falls off the bone after being slow roasted. The hardest thing I have to do all day tomorrow will be browning the sausage for the stuffing...everything else is just a matter of waiting for it to be done. . Should be yummy! And, if you start your Black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping tomorrow, I have a great deal coming your way in the morning!
