I'm watching MKR and baking our signature dish, and I can't help but wonder, what would Manu say? Or better yet, what would Kerry Vincent from The Great Australian Bake Off say? I don't think it'd be good. "Soggy bottom" I'd definitely a phrase that would be thrown out there. I think the flavour is there (Pete) but it's just not a well rounded "dish." I'll be giving them away tomorrow, so if you get a chance, let me know what you think :)
This week is all about High Tea! Here we have some dainty, but certainly not small, lemon Madeleines. To be enjoyed with cucumber sandwiches, scones, and of course, tea!
Our market research team is currently investigating into a vegan brownie option for all our vegan friends out there. Below we have 3 options. On the left is a baked option with macadamia's, using Lindt 70% cocoa for that chocolatey goodness. In the middle we have a non-baked double chocolate brownie. Chockers full of hemp and chia seeds and plenty of cacao and carob powders. Lastly on the right is a raw fudge brownie with dates and prunes giving it a more subtle sweetness. It too is full of healthy goodies like hemp and chia seeds. For those extra healthy junkies out there those last two are gluten AND sugar free. Which in my opinion means you get to indulge that little bit more ;) let us know your thoughts and which is your favourite and go in the chance to win a whole batch of the winning option!! Yum yum :D
