The Green Ayre originally opened as a Wetherspoons pub but has now changed to become a Lloyds No.1 bar, owned by J D Wetherspoon At the weekends Lloyds No.1 - The Green Ayre comes alive. Party with us every Friday and Saturday night until 2am with our DJ's and dancefloor. Friday's are Flashback Fridays, where we play music from the 70's, 80's and 90's, and on Saturday's we play more of the current stuff, with some timeless classics thrown in there for good measure. Throughout the day and evening we have excellent offers on food and drink, as well as great music to suit everyone’s taste. For the quiz masters out there, we have our interactive quiz on Wednesday starting at 8.30pm, with drinks offers throughout the night, with Carlsberg at £1.49, Guinness at £1.79 and Desperados at £1.99, which are hard to beat anywhere. Add to this, £50 worth of vouchers up for grabs each week and what's more it's free to enter! We have a DJ and dancefloor then until 1am to end the night on a high. We offer a huge variety of drinks which include wines, lagers, spirits to name a few and we are cask marque accredited so offer you the best tasting ales. Our extensive food menu has something for everyone, and we serve food until 11pm each night. Whether it be a snack or more of a main meal our menu will have something to suit. We have our famous club nights, Steak Club on Tuesday, Curry club on Thursday, 'Wing it Wednesday' chicken club, Fish Fridays and Sunday club. Each meal comes with a club drink*.
